It seems like the hype created in the world of graphics cards by AMD last year is buried down somewhere this year. We had already witnessed a bunch of GPUs in the Q1 and Q2 of 2017 but this time, it seems like only NVIDIA will remain in the scene with a few of its upcoming releases.
AMD being slow, has plans to roll out Radeon RX 500X series graphics cards in Q3 2018. What we can expect out of the cards, is a performance bump of 5-6% as compared to the RX 500 series.
It seems like AMD isn’t really prepared to launch a brand new RX 600 series for now so sticking to the idea of revamping the RX 500 series is a quite reasonable approach.
The cards might see the day of light between June an July. Nothing else has been announced by any of the credible sources regarding these cards.
