G.Skill’s low-latency memory sticks are breaking records!

G.Skill is probably the first name that comes into the minds of most of the people when speaking of low-latency memory kits. These memory sticks were already high in speed but now, the new report states that they have a record-breaking low-latency rate. The Trident Z RGB memory isn’t only a looker, but also, has a 4000MHz up speed with an ultra-low latency at a tiny CL17 timing.

CL17 Latency

The new memory kits are made with rigorously hand-binned, high-performance Samsung B-die DDR4 IC components.
Now, this will help the memory sticks achieve the memory performance goal as these are extreme performance kits and come in two variants:

  • 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4-4000MHz 1.35V
  • 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4-4133MHz 1.4V

The Better Option

The G.Skill 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4-4266MHz, with a higher timing of 17-18-18-38 at 1.45V, is considerably, a better option. Tested at an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS X HERO motherboard and an Intel Core i7-8700K processor, these results may be the best that could be achieved. Fingers are crossed for the G.Skill CL17 Trident Z RGB kits of RAM that will be available in January 2018.
