The CES 2018 has provided us with so much to talk about and Kingston’s HyperX booth was no exception. The all-new HyperX Predator DDR4 RGB memory unveiled at the event was something that impressed us a lot.
We don’t have much to discuss in this domain but the most interesting thing was these memory modules feature IR (infrared) sensors. The functionality of these sensors is to:
- Let you transition your RGB lighting effects across multiple modules
- Let them talk to their neighboring modules
- To synchronize RGB lighting
In short, the era of wired connections to the motherboard for software control is over.
